As- Salaamu-Alaikum, My dear brothers and sisters, It is an honor to announce, the birth of not one, but two new additions to our great family.
I would like to announce the birth of Imran Saeed, born to house hold of Dr.Muzzamil Saeed and family,
and I would like to announce the birth of Safoora Saeed, born to the house hold of Mujahid Saeed and family.
Alhumdulilah this is a joyous occasion for us, as you can see Imran is already a talker LOL... Ever since the birth of our beloved princess Asiya, we have been having all boys, and now we have our lil princess Safoora, who is now another gem in our family. Alhumdulilah our team is growing strong, and this has been a big year for us, with the additions of Mujtaba Saeed, Sulaiman Saeed, Ibrahim Yahya, Musa Saeed, Imran Saeed, and of course our lil princess Safoora Saeed.
Thats 6 more in our family and just this year, lets see if we can keep it up next year innshallah.
May Allah continue to bless our homes for many more years to come, and may allah make keep our children healty and strong, and make them great muslims, ameen.
Oh and um just a word of advice to you all, becareful, because this pack is loaded with badmasi.
I was talking about the polar bear at the end, LOL. So yeah Global warming is a serous issue, and if you think about it we can make difference. If we just do little things, like using energy efficient light bulbs, not letting the water faucet run, turn the heat down a little bit, drive less, and many more things.
Eric Prydz made this music video, its a remix of an old Pink Floyd song. The video is about school kids who look like they are up to no good, but are doing little things to stop global warming, and I think its pretty cool, esp the part at the end.
Allah swt can take us at anytime, are we ready to meet your creator? are ready to face the grave? are we ready to answer for all our sins? I know I am not. And yet we take things for granted so much. A someone had given me advice, he said always remember death. The angel of death visits us all twice a day, and upon his visit, he asks Allah swt, Shall I take him now? And Allah swt replies not yet.
The mercy of Allah swt is so great, he gives us so many chances. Allah constantly tests us to remind us of his greatness. Like Amir had said in his halaqa, Allah will test us with a some sort of disastrous experience, and immediately we will call to god. Even an atheist will call to god. And then we will start to bargain a deal with our creator. Ya Allah please help me, I promise I will donate this much of my earning, I promise I will read quran everyday, I promise that I will pray my namaz, please ya Allah pleassssssse help me. And then Allah answers our plea, and helps us. And then we forget and go on our way. Why is that we remember Allah the most in the time of need ?
This car was traveling at 60 mph, it was maghrib time, and it was side hit by another car, it rolled off the highway and hit that huge rock which smashed in the winshield. It made complete flip and then slammed in to the tree, preventing it from rolling in to the ocean.
From the pictures you would believe that the passengers were to die. Alhumdulilah not a scratch was laid upon them. They walked away thanking Allah for a new life. Now every second the passengers live, they appreciate life, they say alhumdulilah that they are given a chance to pray their next salat. They scream SUHBHANALLAH that allah had another plan for them, and told the angel of death not yet. Now something simple as drinking water is a the most beautiful thing to them. Now everyday they thank Allah for everything he has given them. Now they try to pray every salat as if it were their last, because Allah can take us anytime he wants. Now they thank Allah for giving them the wake up call of their life.
Trust me, because I know Allah gave me another chance
